Hitman 3’s Deluxe Edition Gets Developer ‘Unboxing’ Video
Escalations, cosmetics and more come in this premium edition of the upcoming game.
While developer IO Interactive has expressed desire to be more than just ‘the Hitman developer’, they will be releasing the third entry in the reboot series later this month, Hitman 3. It looks to be taking the beloved aspects of the first two titles, with sprinklings of more narrative and storytelling. Like many major titles, it’ll also have more than one edition, and the developer have seen fit to ‘unbox’ the Deluxe Edition.
The Deluxe Edition will include, of course, the full base game of Hitman 3. It will also have exclusive cosmetics, weapons and escalation missions, many of which harken back to previous titles. There will also be audio commentary from the game’s Director, detailing how all the new maps were created. Next up is the full soundtrack for all three games in the reboot trilogy, and to round it all of is a digital artbook based on the world of Hitman. If you pre-order any version of the game, you also get the Trinity Pack, a trio of suits based on the color associated with each game in the trilogy.
Hitman 3 will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC and Stadia on January 20th. The pre-load for the Xbox versions are also live now.
