Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time Takes “About 10 Hours” To Beat With Multiple Difficulties To Replay
You’ll have to play through a few times to get everything.
Fans of the animated cult classic Samurai Jack are in for a treat with Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time. The game releases today, and allows you to replay through key moments of the five seasons of the show, as well as provides some original content. How much overall content is there? Well, it seems that’s not too shabby.
In an interview with NintendoEverything, Director Hiroaki Matsui talked about the game. Among talk of the game’s development as well as working with Samurai Jack‘s original creator, when asked about how much content there was, he said he expects most players will beat the game in just over 10 hours on normal “Samurai” mode, but much like the action games of the past the game is taking influence from, a lot of the game will see extension with its multiple difficulties, which you’ll need to clear to get all the collectibles and skills.
“Most players should be able to complete the game in about 10 hours with the normal difficulty level “Samurai.” However, they won’t be able to unlock sufficient amount of collectible items and skills with that difficulty, so I want them to play the game more and more and challenge higher difficulty levels as well. The higher difficulty levels such as “Master Samurai” and “Master of Masters” also require guts to play with, so it is difficult to tell in general how much time will be needed for the player to complete. So, please do your best!”
Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and Apple Arcade.
